Mobilizing Youth Tobacco Prevention & Treatment Champions

This initiative will increase youth tobacco prevention and empowerment programming in Pike, Martin, Floyd, and Johnson counties and allow for collaboration with existing community partners and programs in Eastern Kentucky. Educational programming will be conducted using tailored #iCANendthetrend presentations for elementary, middle school, and high school students delivered by a college facilitator. Lastly, an intergenerational cohort of Community Health Champions will be selected to provide insight into the needs of their community and help tailor the program for students from Eastern Kentucky.
