The UK PREVENT Alliance aims to improve the health of the Commonwealth of Kentucky using a community-engaged, evidence-informed prevention approach. To achieve this, the PREVENT Alliance supports health promotion efforts through community partnerships, research, youth and young adult empowerment, advocacy, and hands-on experience for college students and future professionals.

We also aim to facilitate connections between current and future researchers, educators and practitioners to bridge the gap between research and practice and promote health for all. On campus, we are a collaborative interdisciplinary entity that brings together like-minded researchers, educators, clinicians, students, and professionals.
